Mothers can get their bearings on this online community covering Guelph, Cambridge and Kitchener-Waterloo.
The site's mission is to help active moms navigate motherhood, their neighbourhood and connect with other local mothers. Articles, event listings, a marketplace, groups and a recipe box are some of the features.
Mommy A Go Go was launched earlier this year by a Guelph mom who created the site after having her first child.

Unable to find the resources she needed after having her daughter, Guelph resident Paula Mills created a website for new mothers in Guelph and Cambridge to find all the information they need.
Mommyagogo.ca includes information, classified ads, baby product news and reviews, exclusive events, discussion forums and more. The locally focused website also includes community listings for local retailers, family programs and activities, and service providers, a news release said.

Website will keep new mothers in the loopBY DEIRDRE HEALEY, MERCURY STAFF |
Three months into her maternity leave, Paula Mills found herself going a little stir crazy.
The marketing and sales professional tried occupying herself with chores around the house and taking her daughter to infant classes, but that wasn't enough.
So she started her own e-business. It's a website called Mommyagogo.ca, and it provides local information for new moms in Guelph and Cambridge.
"I cherished the first few months with my new baby, but by the three- or four-month mark my brain was looking for more activity," said the 29-year-old Guelph woman.

"It's what is called an information media area," he said. "You create a business just by creating a central place online. It provides value to moms by giving them one place that's of interest to them. And it can generate revenue by selling space to advertisers."
It's a type of entrepreneurship that is ideal for parents who want to stay at home with their children, Cenfetelli said.
Mills' website is set to launch March 5. But before she even determined what information would be on it, the young mother surveyed 150 new moms in the area to find out what they were lacking.
She learned new moms wanted community event listings, so she plans to have a spot on the website for upcoming events. There will be a "mommy pages" directory with all the contact information for local retailers, programs and service providers. "It will have information on everything from swimming lessons to where you can get a breast pump," she said.
The website will also have a mommy marketplace where moms can post classified ads to sell used baby furniture or to swap baby clothes.
In addition to providing information, the website will also offer new moms a place to meet other moms.
Mills, who moved to Guelph's south end from Burlington two years ago, didn't really know any other moms in the area. "It's hard to be in an infant class and turn to the mom next to you and ask to go for coffee," she said. "You want to reach out and have adult conversation, but it's awkward. It's kind of like dating." So on the website, there will be a spot where moms can post messages to meet other moms in their area.
There will also be an opportunity for moms to have live chats with experts such as lactation consultants, pediatricians and midwives.
It sounds like a big endeavour for a first-time mother with a nine-month-old daughter, but Mills said she is excited about her new career. "I never saw myself as an entrepreneur, but it's really surprising how rewarding it can be."
